Liam and Lara's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
TEAM L&L 4 LIFE had our first team meeting this week! Kennedy with LLS got us all up to date on our mission and we're excited to start building our team page! #L&L4LIFE
Liam and Lara's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
This year, we are proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
We are high school students at the Denver Waldorf school and we have been involved in LLS since we were little kids. Our mom is a blood cancer doctor at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute and Light the Night has been one of our favorite events where we honor our late grandmother Laura Kelley. She passed away in 2008 from MDS/AML.
We want to raise funds so that families have more time together and for patients to get what they need for treatment. We've realized by shadowing our mom at work that people might not have money to pay for gas to get to their treatments or even decide between paying for food versus their medicine. We've chose the LLS Patient Support Pillar to help people get what they need!
We have a group of pretty awesome friends and family on our TEAM L&L 4 LIFE! Our goal is to raise $100,000 and we know we can do it together with your support. Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit our website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, our efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
